I am the Founder & Recruitment Director at theo. I started my career in the motor trade as soon as I left school having taken up a Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship with Chrysler.
Having completed my apprenticeship I quickly transitioned out of the workshop into customer facing positions where I progressed quickly and became a Service Manager for Mercedes-Benz. It was in this role where the challenges of hiring quality automotive staff came to the forefront and the difficulties of sourcing high quality talent within the automotive industry became apparent.
Fast forward 12 years and with the help of my wonderful team we have built a truly exceptional automotive recruitment agency that has a reputation of being one of the best in the UK. To date, we have successfully matched over 4000 employers and candidates – a truly epic feat!
It became clear after engaging numerous companies over the years that there was a clear gap in the market for a specialist automotive recruitment agency and this is where I took the plunge into the recruitment world and founded theo.
I could have never imagined the incredible journey we've embarked on, from building lasting relationships and networks throughout the UK Automotive Industry to positively impacting countless lives and careers.
Fun Fact – I appeared on BBC’s Dragon Den in 2021 and successfully secured investment from two well known Dragons!

I have been with theo for almost a decade. Starting as a Consultant, I transitioned into my current role of Recruitment & Resourcing Manager which involves leading the team to ensure we deliver the best experience to our valued clients and candidates.
A fun fact about me, I trained to be a Chef, and quickly realised I enjoyed the eating part more!
I am currently a Key Account Manager at theo and have been here for 6 years! I started out my career as I stepped into the world of the motor trade as a Service Advisor.
My role is to guide customers through their vehicle service needs taught me the importance of precision, communication, and customer satisfaction. I then ventured into the realm of recruitment consultancy within the automotive sector which opened up a world of possibilities. Matching skilled professionals with the perfect roles became my passion, motivating me to connect talent with opportunity. I found myself taking on the role of a key account manager, where I could merge my love for the automotive industry with my knack for building and nurturing relationships, working closely with clients and candidates. With each twist and turn in my career path, I've embraced new challenges, learned valuable lessons, and fuelled my passion for making meaningful connections in the fast-paced world of recruitment! But what's truly fun about recruitment? It's the human connection, the thrill of the hunt, and the satisfaction of seeing individuals thrive in environments where they truly belong. Whether it's spotting talent in unexpected places or negotiating the perfect fit, every day brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to make a difference in someone's career journey.

Working for theo for over six years has been an incredible journey for me. Beginning as a Consultant and transitioning into the Admin department, I've steadily climbed the ranks to become the Admin and Accounts Manager, all thanks to theo's guidance and support. Recently, I achieved my Level 3 Bookkeeping qualification, a milestone that has enhanced my ability to contribute to theo's ventures.
One interesting titbit about me: I share my life with a Mastiff named Thumper, lovingly known as "Psycho" for his lively personality.

Starting off my career in a Busy Dealership as a Service Advisor, after 6 years I decided to take a step into the world of Recruitment and haven’t looked back since. I've had the pleasure of working for theo for two years now as the Recruitment Administrator. My career initially began in Financial Services Recruitment in the city, but after starting a family, I made the move to join theo to be closer to my kids.
