Are you an experienced Assistant Service Manager ready for a fresh challenge in a prestige main dealer environment? Our client — a well-established and highly successful dealership in Wimbledon— is looking for a confident Aftersales professional to support and drive their Service operation. Whether you’re already an Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager, Service Team Leader, Service Reception Manager, or a senior Service Advisor stepping up, this is a strong opportunity to develop your leadership career within a respected dealer group.

 Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic • £52,000- 60,000 OTE
Hours: Monday–Friday 8am- 6pm

What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly)

  • Planning, monitoring and improving Service department processes and customer service standards
  • Coaching, motivating and developing the Service team to improve performance and results
  • Ensuring workshop resources meet demand while reviewing labour efficiency, sales and costs
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and daily operating controls
  • Analysing customer needs and competitor activity to support targeted marketing initiatives
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance across all Service operations
  • Managing dealership assets including tools, equipment and workshop facilities
  • Controlling departmental expenses through regular review of budgets and management accounts

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Service Manager or similar role within a main dealer Service department
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder with customers and internal teams
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate, coach and lead a Service team to hit targets
  • Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach to Aftersales performance
  • Track record of delivering excellent CSI results and customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of vehicle design, manufacturer standards and automotive legislation
  • Full UK driving licence
