Mobile Vehicle Technician – Milton Keynes

Are you a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic looking for your next step? Our client — a busy, successful main dealer operation covering Milton Keynes and the surrounding area — is expanding and looking for a confident, experienced Mobile Technician to join their aftersales team.

This role offers autonomy, variety, and customer-facing work, while still being fully supported by a structured main dealer aftersales operation with genuine long-term progression opportunities.

Salary: £39,000 basic • Bonus

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm • 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations
• Diagnosing and repairing faults to manufacturer standards
• Completing digital job reports and service documentation
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
• Managing your own daily workload and schedule
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally main dealer
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
• EV / Hybrid training preferred
