Paint/ Smart Technician

Are you an experienced Paint / SMART Technician looking for a stable, long-term role within a professional automotive environment? Our client in the Swindon area is seeking a skilled and detail-focused technician to carry out high-quality cosmetic and paint repairs to manufacturer and company standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a well-run, supportive operation.

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
Bonus: OTE £48,00 in bonus with a PTE of £15,000 in bonus

Workday pattern Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday morning or overtime around month end
Working hours 08:30-17:00 with 30mins for lunch.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out SMART repairs including paint, scuffs, scratches and minor bodywork
• Completing paint preparation and refinishing to a high standard
• Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer and company quality standards
• Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Managing your workload to meet deadlines and productivity targets
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Paint / SMART Technician
• Strong knowledge of paint processes and cosmetic repair techniques
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Team player with a professional attitude
• Full UK driving licence
