Our client — a busy prestige automotive dealership in Reading  — is looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Technician to join their bodyshop team. Whether you work as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician, or Bodyshop Paint Specialist, this is a solid opportunity to work in a professional environment where quality matters and your skills are properly valued.

Salary: £36,000 basic • plus Bonus
Hours: Monday–Friday 8am – 5 pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am – 1pm

What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly)

• Preparing vehicles for paint, including masking and priming
• Mixing paint accurately to achieve perfect colour matches
• Spray painting vehicles to a high, consistent standard
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure defect-free finishes
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician
• City & Guilds qualification or time-served equivalent
• ATA accreditation beneficial but not essential
• Experience gained within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
• Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
