Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location: Hounslow

Salary: £60,000 plus Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week 

If you’re an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor, VDA, or Bodyshop Estimator who knows how to write a clean, accurate estimate first time — this is one you’ll want to look at.

This role would suit someone currently working as a Damage Assessor, Accident Repair Estimator, or Automotive Estimator looking for a stable, well-run bodyshop where you’re trusted to just get on with it.

What You’ll Be Doing (and Doing Brilliantly)

• Assess vehicle damage and produce accurate, detailed repair estimates
• Use systems such as Audatex (or similar) to create and manage estimates
• Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to move claims forward
• Identify additional damage and update estimates accordingly
• Ensure all repairs are cost-effective and meet manufacturer standards
• Provide clear, accurate job instructions to the workshop team
• Manage your own workload to meet KPIs and turnaround targets

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Estimator / Bodyshop Estimator
• Strong understanding of accident repair methods and bodyshop processes
• Experience with estimating systems (Audatex, GT Motive, Glassmatix etc.)
• Sharp attention to detail — you take pride in getting it right first time
• Confident communicator with both customers and insurers
• ATA accreditation (nice to have, not essential)
• A team player with a professional, no-nonsense approach
